Our Story 

Hi! I’m Rivka Wineberg, director of City Gan Preschool of LIC. After establishing the JCC-Chabad of LIC 17 years ago, my husband and I felt the need to create a preschool rooted in Jewish values and education after having 6 children of our own! City Gan was born from my passion for instilling confidence, independence, and a strong sense of self in young children.​

Beyond a nurturing environment, we believe even the youngest learners benefit from a well-rounded education. We consult experts, attend conferences, and carefully select loving, dedicated teachers to ensure each child thrives socially, emotionally, and academically.
